Lone Bear District Merit Badge Academy – Registration
Please note any special times listed for individual courses before registering.
Why Attend? Merit Badge Academies are a great opportunity to dive into a subject you're genuinely passionate about — whether it's robotics, cooking, astronomy, or any other topic that sparks your curiosity. Learning something you care about makes the experience more rewarding and helps the knowledge stick long after the class is over.
For older Scouts working toward Eagle, this is also a great chance to knock out any merit badges you still need on your checklist. Take a look at what's being offered and see if anything lines up with your remaining requirements — it could be the push you need to get across the finish line.
How to Sign Up:
Click the MBA link below
Go to the Program tab to browse available merit badges and their scheduled times
Click the green Register Online button to complete registration and payment
Cost: $20 per Scout
Important Note: Attending a Merit Badge Academy does not guarantee you'll earn the badge that day. While some simpler topics may be completed during the session, most merit badges will require significant follow-up work on your own time after the class. We're happy to help guide you through the remaining requirements along the way! -Mr. Dula
